Getting Started

We seek volunteers who have a passion for symphonic music, will demonstrate a commitment to the success of the Seattle Symphony and enjoy meeting other volunteers who share this passion. If this describes you, we’d love to meet with you!

We meet with each prospective volunteer with a goal of discovering his or her interests, talents and availability for volunteer assignments. At this initial meeting the benefits of volunteering, volunteer opportunities and expectations are also discussed. Each volunteer opportunity requires different skills and time commitments, so we strive to match volunteer interests and availability with Symphony needs.

Annual dues cover the expenses of running the volunteer organization. All excess funds are used to support the Seattle Symphony.

  • $15 for seniors (62 and over) and students (21 and over with valid student ID)
  • $30 for standard membership
  • $50 for standard membership plus a donation
