First Concert Series

For children 3 to 5 years of age

Meet the instruments of the orchestra in Octave 9: Raisbeck Music Center. Seattle Symphony musicians will perform short pieces and invite questions from curious little ones, learning together about the different sounds and people behind the instruments! 

Performances feature one Seattle Symphony musician at each 30-minute concert. Pre-concert activities begin 30-minutes prior to each performance. Free with ticket purchase.

Tiny Tots Series (0 to 5 years old)

Let Your Music Shine with Lisa & Linda™

Engage your youngest music lovers with a 35-minute interactive program featuring musical games, stories and songs. Pre-concert activities will begin 30 minutes before the show in the Samuel & Althea Stroum Grand Lobby.



Classical King FM 98.1 Family Concert Series (6-12 years old)

Explore the world of symphonic music with the Seattle Symphony. Family Concerts are programmed with some of the world’s greatest children's classics! Come one hour early to participate in pre-concert adventures in the Samuel & Althea Stroum Grand Lobby, featuring craft activities and instrument exploration.



Sensory Friendly Concerts Series (5 to 8 years old)

Sensory Friendly Concerts, a new program designed specifically for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities, invites families with children ages 5–8 to enjoy small chamber works and participatory group songs in the Norcliffe Founders Room at Benaroya Hall. The concert experience includes pre- or post-concert instrument exploration, a meet-and-greet with the featured musicians, and a 35-minute performance hosted by a board-certified music therapist.


Community Concerts (All ages)

Experience the transformational and inspiring impact of great music free of charge! Community and Side-by-Side Concerts are made possible with support from 4Culture, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Kjristine Lund.
