Wes Dyring


Violist Wesley Anderson Dyring has been a member of the Seattle Symphony since 1986. In addition to his work at the symphony, Dyring maintains an active schedule as a chamber musician, soloist, recording artist, arranger, publisher and teacher. His current passion is exploring music of South America and the new sounds that come from the blend of acoustic guitar, percussion and classical strings. Before coming to Seattle, he served as principal violist for the Orquesta Filarmónica of Santiago, Chile, where he also performed as a soloist. Dyring holds a Master of Music and Performer's Certificate from the Eastman School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from Michigan State University. He owns and operates Dyring Music, LLC, together with his wife, Luz Marina Dyring.
