Yvette Kraft debuted with the Spokane Symphony at the age of eleven. Since then she has won multiple concerto competitions in Washington, Idaho, and Michigan. She has performed as a soloist with the Spokane Symphony, Spokane Youth Symphony, Interlochen Intermediate Orchestra, Seattle’s Philharmonia Northwest Orchestra, the Washington/Idaho Symphony and now with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. She has performed at master classes with Noah Bendix-Balgley, Augustin Hadelich, Josef Špaček, and Vadim Gluzman, to name a few. She is a 2019 Seattle Young Artist Music Festival Gold Medalist, and a 2019/20 MTNA Senior Strings State winner. She was a semi-finalist in the Louis Spohr International Violin Competition and will be competing again in the Grumiaux International Violin Competition in March. She studies with Simon James in Seattle.
